Come sing and learn with us July 20-24, 2026, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Owen Sound, Ontario.
This week includes a 100-voice mass choir, four 25-voice small choirs, workshops, a Wednesday evening concert with Pro Coro Canada, a talent show, and a Friday evening end-of-week concert featuring our mass choir and small choirs.
Dr. Elaine Choi and Dr. Mark Ramsay will be returning as our mass choir co-conductors and Lynn Janes, Dr. Lorinda Van Wyk, James Pinhorn, and Matthew Allard will direct our small choirs and lead workshops. You can learn more about our leaders by clicking the link on each leader’s name.
The registration fee is $375 for adults (ages 25+) and $225 for students (ages 14-24). The registration fee includes the following:
- 5 days of singing, learning, and great friendship
- Activities run from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each day
- Two mass choir rehearsals each day led by both Dr. Elaine Choi and Dr. Mark Ramsay
- Daily small choir rehearsals directed by Pro Coro Canada, Lynn Janes, James Pinhorn, Lorinda Van Wyk, and Matthew Allard
- Daily music workshops led by Lynn Janes, James Pinhorn, Lorinda Van Wyk, Dr. Elaine Choi, & Dr. Mark Ramsay
- Your copy of the sheet music for the mass choir and your small choir, which is yours to keep
- A ticket to the Wednesday evening concert with Pro Coro Canada
- Performing at the Friday evening concert with the mass choir and one small choir
Pro Coro Canada will lead workshops at Choir Camp Owen Sound in 2026, and perform a concert on Wednesday, July 22, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Owen Sound.
Choir Camp is ideal for experienced singers who can keep up with a quick pace of learning, but beginners are also very welcome. Some of our small choirs will be geared towards singers of all levels and others will be for more advanced singers.
